About the Role

As an Account Coordinator for De La Torre & Associates Insurance Services, Inc, you will be part of an account management team that provides risk management and consulting services to organizations enabling them to understand their exposures, reduce their costs and find viable solutions. Account Coordinators are responsible for ensuring outstanding client administrative support.

General Responsibilities:

- Processing Request For Proposals (RFP’s)

- Coordinating and handling client activities on new and renewal accounts

- Maintaining client data and files

- Following up on quote activity and any needed information with producers and/or clients

- Prospecting potential clients

- Help process employee adds, changes, new enrollments, and terminations

- Assist with client's invoicing, claims, and eligibility

- Assist with ongoing client administrative support

- Attend client meetings as requested

- Assist in client open enrollment events as requested

- Support company on other administrative activities as needed

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail· Ability to work cross functionally across department lines to resolve issues

  • Experience with successfully managing multiple projects and tasks efficiently in a deadline driven environment

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and web-based applications as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Current Life and Health Insurance license or required within 90 days.
